Focus Period 2: Distributed Decisions via Games and Price Mechanisms (Feb. 22–Mar. 26)

During the last decade there has been a growing interest within the engineering community to use game-theoretic methods for analysis of networked embedded systems, which are pervasive in automotive, aerospace, biomedical, and telecommunication technologies. Simultaneously, important areas of economics, such as mechanism design and social networks, are increasingly using methods from computer science and control theory. The aim of the second focus period is to create a forum for research and in-depth discussion of these issues.
