Title: Diffusion Modelling approaches to EEG-based Auditory Attention Decoding

Examiner: Pontus Giselsson, LTH

Abstract: Diffusion probabilistic models (DPMs) are a class of generative models which have achieved widespread success in image generation, with the likes of Stable Diffusion, DALL-E and more. We have investigated using DPMs to generate synthetic electroencephalography (EEG) data and its viability in being used as a data augmentation method for classification tasks.
