The Åström Symposium on Control

Professor Karl Johan Åström will retire on December 31, 1999 from the chair in Automatic Control at Lund Institute of Technology. To honor Karl Johan the Åström Symposium on Control will take place in Lund. At this occasion we will commemorate Karl Johan's impressive contributions to science and his role as a good friend and leader.

Ten internationally renowned researchers are invited to contribute to the seminar:

Registration has to be made before August 10 to the Symposium secretariat.

Program: See the preliminary program (also in PDF-format). The invited papers will be published in a book entitled The Åström Symposium on Control published by Studentlitteratur, Lund. It will be available at a cost of SEK 250.
