ARTIST2
is an EU/IST
FP6 network of excellence on design of embedded systems. The
objective of ARTIST2 is to strengthen European research
in Embedded Systems Design, and promote the emergence of this new
multi-disciplinary area. ARTIST2 gathers together the best European
teams from the composing disciplines,
and will work to forge a
scientific community.
Internally ARTIST2 is divided into seven clusters (Modelling and Components, Hard Real-Time, Adaptive Real-Time, Compilers and Timing Analysis, Execution Platforms, Control for Embedded Systems, Testing and Verification). Lund is a member of the cluster Control for Embedded Systems with Karl-Erik Årzén as the cluster leader. The other nodes is this cluster are KTH, Czech Technical University, and the Polytechnical University of Valencia. The work within the cluster is focused on three areas:
